  1. I remember being a little egg in a manure heap. You may think I am an ugly thing but I assure you that I am not. I spent the Winter in that desolate home. I felt very lonely by myself and wondered if I should ever leave my home. The Winter slipped by very slowly and I ardently longed for the glorious Summer to come. But, as the old saying goes, "However long the day the night will come".
It was so with me. With the advent of Summer I grew very warm and slowly emerged out of my shell. I was then fully fledged fly you now see before you. I go about from house to house, day by day doing mischief and that is what I enjoy.
