  1. Ben is an old miser. He spent his life scraping money together. Some say he is worth thousands of pounds. He never spends anything and never helps any good work. He eats barely enough and if you were to see him going the road you would think he was a tramp. Such an old coat as he wears. I suppose he hasn't got a new stitch for the past ten years. People say he is starving himself to death because he is thin & worn. If he spent some of his money with the poor he would be much happier.
