    Franz was living in the Swiss mountains with his mother and brother. One day he felt very unhappy as his mother and brother were going away to the big city and poor Franz had to stay at home with his grandfather. He tried to keep back his tears by biting his lips but his mother consoled him saying : Never mind I will send you a present and I hope it will bring you good luck. If it does you will be a lucky boy.
    After they were gone he helped his grandfather with the wooden blocks which
