    We were just coming in from play when it passed over the school. Its white wings glistened in the sunshine and the roar of its massive engine frightened all the dogs in the village and they all joined in chorus barking. Not long after it had disappeared behind the horizon and by this time the dogs had quietened down.
    How fast it can travel. In a few hours it will be able to reach Southampton. It can leave boats; trains and motor cars behind. How I would like to be sitting beside the pilot. What wounderful things I would see down
