  1. Somewhere at the summit of Binn Ruadh I bubble up from the mossy pastures, and then I come tumbling down the precipices on my way to the villages below. I am glad when I reach the level ground and when I arrive at Walsh's I stand and draw a long breath.
    Then I flow very quietly through the village but when I reach the rocky pools beyond I make more noise. Down at the bridge I shout at a man ploughing and I gabble to the children coming from school.
