  1. The Years Round 8/11/'38
    In Spring the flowers & plants awake out of their Winter slumber & stretch forth their limbs to welcome the glowing sun. The frost & snow melt away. The birds fly home across the seas & begin nest-building in the woods. The croaking of the rooks may be heard in the tree-tops as they begin to choose their mates. Young lambs frisk about in the meadows. Each morning at daybreak the little red lark soars up to the sky & the farmers plough the soil & sow the seeds.
    In Summer the sun moves up higher in the blue sky. We have long warm sunny days & short starry nights. The (grass) dew falls on the grass during the night & the
