    My dear Uncle,
    I received your letter yesterday, which contained two pounds. Thanks for same. You advised me to buy books with the money. I am very thankful for the that chance as they will be most helpful to me in my studies. I will ask my teacher to select the books for me, as I do not know the sort of books I want.
