    Shrove-tide is generally the time for Match-Making. The people nowadays are not like long ago when they used to give a cow or a horse for a dowry but a man would not marry a girl unless she had a lot of money.
    There is no such thing as getting married in a house but long ago they used to.
    They have a motor car and they bring with them to the chapel and have a party on that night
    The Supper takes place in the lady's house and the wedding
