- The greatest snowstorm that I heard of was in 1917 and it lasted for three weeks and it was six feet deep and a lot of people lost their sheep and lambs and the children could not go to school for two weeks.
There was also a great rainfall thirty years ago and the bogs moved and some people were lost also houses. May people were going to see the moving bogs.
