- The churn which. I have at home is a machine churn. The churn I have at home is twelve years old. It contains a dash, and lid, a handle, a key and washer. In olden times the people used to milk their cows into pitchers.
First the milk is strained into a clean basin and left there for twenty-four hours. Then the milk is skimmed into another crock and when it is filled it is churned. In olden times(continues on next page)- Collector
