- Fairy Forts.
There are two fairy forts in my home district. There is one about a mile from my home. It is in a field and it is called Liss a Puca. There is another about half a mile away and they are in view of each other. There are high ditches around them. There is supposed to be fairies guarding two crocks of gold. Three men of the village went down one time and the light they had was quinched and no one went down since. There is no other one for miles around.- Collector
