  1. Hidden Treasure.
    Very often gold and silver ornaments, sacred vessels, coins and other valuables are found hidden or buried in different parts of Ireland. It is only very recently a gold collar was found in Clare and the man who found it got three hundred pound from the National Museum in Dublin. In some places these treasures are supposed to be hidden since the times of the Danes and they are said to be guarded by the fairies. In a district about four miles from here there is a very large rath or lis. The rath is a great height
