- Fairs are mostly always held in big towns. But sometimes small fairs are held in villages. In some place the fairs are held on the streets but in other places they are held on the fair green. There were a lot of fairs held in the olden times which are no longer held. There were fairs in Four Roads and Brideswell long ago but there are no fairs held there now because they were not attended well enough In some places the people have to pay sixpence for(continues on next page)
