Local Marriage Customs.
People generally get married in Shrove tide. It is said that Friday and Saturday are unlucky days to get married. A marriage day is a great feast day. First the man and girl go to the Chapel to get married. Some people when they get married go for a week or so on their Honeymoon and others come home when they are married.
The wedding (tk) takes place in the house of the man if the girl is going to live in the man's house and if the man going to live in the girl's(continues on next page)- Collector
