    My home is situated in the village of Derrycahill. I live in the barony of Athlone in the Parish of Dysart and in the County Roscommon.
    There are twentyone houses in my villages but in olden times there were five more in the village than there is in the village at present. There are three houses with slated roofs, and there are nineteen houses with thatched roofs.
    The names most common in my district are Lynch and Kelly. The population
