  1. Severe Weather.
    About five years ago we had a big snow storm. It remained on the ground for two weeks. There were a lot of sheep and cattle lost in the snow.
    Motars and Lorries were held up on the roads. it was hard on cattle and sheep because they could not get grass to eat. It was hard to get hay or anything for them. No person could go out side the door that time.
    There was no water to be got in wells or pumps
