- Long ago people used to wear no shoes until they were twenty years of age. Some children nowadays wear no shoes in Summer time. People used to wear clogs (and) in the olden times and there are some people wearing them still. It is an old saying never to leave the water feet would be washed with within or any kind of dirty water.
