The old people when they had ailments cured them themselves. The way they cured a headache was to rub vinegar on the forehead. The (sen) seventh son or seventh daughter is able to cure ringworm.
There is a rock in Bevenaugh Church Yard in the Parish of Glenamaddy about five and a half miles from Gortnadeve County Galway where St. Patrick knelt and left the track of his knee on the rock.
