Travelling Folk.
The travellers that come to our house are tinkers. We bought a can and saucepans and a gallon measure and we gave them money for them. We gave them flour, and a piece of bacon. One tinker man's name I know is Pat Ward from Ballygar. He is not married at all. Another tinkers I know are Biddy Hatters and Lizzie Flynn.
The tinkers live in tents or caravans and they stay near a wood(continues on next page)- Collector
