- I live in the village of Derreen in the town land of Mucklon in the barony of Killyan. There are thirteen houses in my village two of them are slated and the rest of them are thatched there are two old ruins in my village but there is no body living in them now. There is no wood in my village now but there was one in it long ago and that is how Derrene got its name the little Oak wood. the population of my village is 96 and there is an old woman about 93(continues on next page)
