  1. Holy Wells.
    There are not many holy wells in this district. There is a well situated about five miles from here in Ahascragh. It is called St Kevin's well.
    Crowds of people visit on the 15th October every year this is the proper day. The prist says the Rosary around the well with the people. Before they start they get 15 rushes. There is a stone at the well with the image of Christ on it.
    And as the people go around the well when they come to the stone they bend
