  1. There are a lot of fairy forts in this parish.
    There is a fort in Dysart and one in Turpane, there is a fort in Creeher in Mr Moor's field.
    The field is situated near the river Suck. There is a fort in Mucklon. It is shaped like a basin it is wide round the top and flat i the bottom.
    It is said that when people were crossing late at night they saw fairies hurling and buying and selling at a fair.
    There is also a fort situated in Sandfield, Knockcroghery
