  1. Holy Wells. 21-3-'32
    There are holy wells in different places. There is a holy well in the parish of Ahasgragh called St Kevins well, in the middle of Castlegar lands. People visit it on the 15th of October and go through stations some with their shoes off and others with them on. The priest of parish attends there and says the Rosary and goes through a station. When the Rosary is finished the priest gives a sermon about St Kevin and about the well. It is said that St Kevin lifted a stone and a well sprang up.
