    1. This is the way you would skip, you would get a rope and two would twist it and a couple would go in to it. The time of the year for skipping is the summer.
    2. We play pickie very often in summer and this is the way it is played. First you draw a long square. Next you put numbers in the boxes for six to twelve and put your name on the top of the square. Then you get a flat smooth stone and hop from box to box along.
