  1. Once upon a time there were three cats, one black, one white, and one brown. This night the cats went out looking for salmon.
    On the bank of the river they saw a man fishing. This man forgot his pipe and he had no smoke. He left the rod on the river bank and went home.
    While he was at home a salmon got caught in the rod. The cats went down and caught him and brought him up on the bank.
    A fox strolled the way and he told them all to their heads up in the air to see which one of them would sing the sweetest.
