  1. These are the wild birds we have in this district:- blackbird, thrush, crow, swallow, linnet, owl, seagull, robin, wren, lakr, snipe, cuckoo, bullfinch, sparrow, goldfinch, pheasant, woodcock, yellow-hammer, grouse, magpie, water-hen, corncrake, curlew, chaffinch, veet, crane, Jack-daw, sterling, swan, Tom-tit, pigeon, green plover, hawk.
The thrush builds her nest in a hedge. It is made of mud, sticks and moss. She covers the nest with wet mud and she flapps her wings inside in the nest and makes it quite smooth. She usually lays five eggs the colour of them is blue with white dots on them. The thrush stays with us all the year round.
