    Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday are lucky days.
    People would not like to start building a house on Monday or Friday.
    People would not start ploughing on a Saturday because they say it would never be finished.
    The "Cross Day of the Year" is St Brigid's Eve and the people put crosses on the rafters of their houses if there is a Brigid in the family.
    The people in this district usually set potatoes on the fifteenth or sixteenth of March.
