  1. The people round the district make chairs and sell them in the market every Friday and fair days. They buy the timber and prepare it for the chairs. The implements used are:- a chisel, plain, saw and gimlet.
    When a man is thatching he uses a leather for the palm of his hand, also a knife to cut the thatch. He uses a bundle of straw or rushes tied with a rope and cut short for the scallops. This is called a "darby".
    This is forbidden by the Board of Fishery and if a person was caught by the bailiffs he would be summoned and fined heavily. That is to
