- (continued from previous page)Herbs growing in the farm at home are buttercups, and daisies, thistle, caistreabhán, chickenweed, slanless, dogleaf and crowfoot. Dogleaf is good for the sting of a nettle. Caistreabhán is good for feeding pigs. It is cut small and mixed with milk and meal. Thistles grow in rich land. Dandelion is drawn like tea and is used for a cold. Slanless is used if you got any cut to stop it from bleeding.
