    Epicures Early-Rose, Shamrocks Champions and British Queens. The potatoes are dug in the beginning of September. They are dug with a plough and in small gardens they are dug with a spade.
    Everyone in the house picks them. When the stalks are withered then the potatoes are fit to be dug. They are stored in a pit. It is usually in a garden the pit is made. It is made of earth and rushes.
