    We play Pickie very often in summer. First you draw a square, next you put numbers in the little boxes from six to twelve and put your name on the top of the square. Then you get a flat smooth stone and hop from box to box along, if you stood on the lines or gave two hops in one box you would have to wait for your turn again.
    Swinging is played at all times of the year
