  1. The marriage take place in our district at Easter and Shrove.
    The unlucky months of the year to get married are June, August, September and October.
    When people are getting married in this place by matches, some of the relations of both parties meet in town and if they think the match is suitable they appoint a certain day for the marriage if the man had a farm and the girl a fortune. The girl and boy get married if the two parties agree. Any other things are not given but money as fourtines.
    It is over two hundred years since marriages took place in the houses.
