  1. There is a crib in our house and it is put up in the back window of the kitchen. There are small candles lighted beside it. There are big candles lighted, two on each front windows and one on each back window. The candles are always lighted by the youngest in the house at six o'clock and they are left lighting all night. They are lighted an Christmas Eve and on New Year's Eve and on Little Christmas. On St Stephen's Day boys go out with the wren and play melodions and drums and tombreens and they dance and get money. They have a wren dance on the following night. Some boys go by motors and bicycles on the Wren.
