  2. A few miles south of the mountains known as the "Two Paps" which are in the parish of Rathmore, East Killarney, is a small field surrounded by large stone walls. An ancient story tells us that these walls were built one night by St. Crobhdhearg. She had intended to build seven walls but just as she had half the fourth one built she saw a man approaching with a stick and halter. She fled leaving the work unfinished. The intruder was a native of Claideach, a place on the other side of the hills
