- Hidden treasure is supposed to be in the lands of Ratanny about four miles east of Tralee. It is said to be hidden near Ratanny House now occupied by Mr. Horace Horgan. Long ago there lived a landlord there whose name was Colonel Rowan. He went as a candidate for some election and most people in the district were in favour of him but one band was got together in opposition.
