    Toothache. Pepper is supposed to cure this.
    Earache. Black wool cures this.
    Sore heads. Roasted cabbage leaves.
    Inflamed mouth. The breath of the gander.
    Hooping cough. Milk left in a vessel after a ferret drinking from it.
    A stye in the eye. A gooseberry thorn is used to prod a stye or to rub a person's fasting spittle rubbed on it for nine mornings.
    Warts. Washing soda.
    Bleading. The leaf of the "slánlus".
    Boil. A plaster of soap and sugar. The tongue of the fox was used to draw out a pin or a needle.
