The ghost then picked up the man and carried him to a house near by where he was attended to and little by little he became better. Then he he told his story to the people of the house. The Ghost had disappeared.
- There once lived a certain man who used only go home from work once each week. One Saturday night in the cold month of November he went home very late. When he arrived at his home he found to his bitter grief that his wife was very ill. He did not go to work next week but stayed at home and nursed his wife. One night when he went to bed he heard someone moving outside his window. He went outside but found nobody there. No sooner had he come in when he heard someone moving outside his window again. Just as he was going out the door he heard three frightful yells. He did not turn back however and was just in time to catch sight of a woman clad in white garments with very long hair.
