  2. Another quaint legend tells us that, four Wise Kings saw the beautiful star in the East and they set out together laden with gifts but the fourth King was so generous and kind that he parted with all his gifts which he had brought with him for the Babe Jesus, to the poor and feeble which he met on the wayside. On arriving near Bethlehem to his great sorrow he found he had nothing left to present to the Divine Child, and so he would not go with empty hands. He returned home again with a heavy heart but that night he had a beautiful dream in which the Divine Child appeared to him and blessed him and said "As long as you did it unto one of these My least brethren, you did unto Me".
