    Bhí fear ann fadó agus bhí sé an-bhocht ar fad. An lá seo ní raibh aon uisce istigh aige agus dúirt sé leis féin go mba mhaith an rud dul go dtí an tobar agus buicéad uisce a thabhairt abhaile leis. Chuaidh sé go dtí an tobar agus díreach nuair a bhí an buicéad líonta aige. D'imigh an buicéad anáirde sa spéir.
    Cúpla lá ina dhiaidh san tháinigh fear isteach cuige leis an mbuicéad agus sé an rud a dúirt an fear ná "Aingeal a thógaint is an diabhail a thabhairt thar n-ais".
