- I will be twenty-eight years to-morrow With regard to my situation, I am just an author. When I once read a book by the little "A Lad of Grit" I said to myself that I might, in some time be able to take up the task. Then many impressions came to me. What would be the title of the book? How should I begin and end the book? My patience almost overcame me and at last I commenced the tremendous task.
