  1. Clytie and her sister were water nymphs. Every evening they came up to the bands refreshing themselves and when the sun would rise the would go back to their water beds. That was the law in nymph land.
    One day they stayed on the bank watching the sun travelling across the sky. The sun smiled on them and they were delighted.
    When they went back that evening to their home they began quarrelling. Clytie went to King Ocean and told him about her sister. King Ocean was very dissatisfied and he imprisoned her in a dark cave. Clytie did not let on that herself broke the
