His breast was bare and his dishevelled hair was buried in the desert, and while he lay asleep he dreamt of his Native land.Among the many things he saw in his dreams, he immagined he saw the Niger flowing into the sea and he pictured in his mind (where) that he was walking beneath the palm trees. Finally, he heard the tinkling caravans comming down the mountain road.
