    Before long he was my best friend. I got to know his grey wisp of dishevelled hair slipping down over his grey eyes, his lurching walk + his red sun-tanned face. He shouted wildly + gestured ferociously with his hands + when he smiled he bared his teeth + closed his eyes.
    They called him the "Tumbler" + you may guess why I never saw him without a crowd of people standing watching him. He used to spread his canvas bar on the mud + he could act the clown better than anyone I ever
