  2. I often remember studying the cups and saucers trying to find out what the pictures on them meant. I remember one special picture and it depicts a lordly Mandarin's house in the garden by the side of a river. In a garden is a tree with mulberries and another tree laden with oranges to show how beautiful the garden is.
    The story of the picture is as follows.
