  2. There is an old road at Kinlough. It was made the time of the famin and the pay each man got in the evening was a big plate of Indian meal. The women also worked at this road but they did not get as big a pay as the men. the only got three quarters of a plate. Every man who had children got two plates of meal They made about half a mile of this
