  1. There was once a man called Kevin Davin. This man used to write poetry in English. He is supposed to have lived in an old house in Pat Davins field on the side of the Dalgan road. This is a verse of a poem he wrote.
    A neat little cottage,
    Beneath two trees,
    A green patch beyond,
    And a hive of bees,
    Curling smoke from a,
    Chimney small,
    And an old half,
    door that's all.
