  1. Long ago the people would not get married on a Thursday or a Saturday at all. They thought these very unlucky day to get married on.
    Around this locality the people consider March, May and September very lucky months to get married in. Nearly all marriages take place before Lent and a lot of them take place on Shrove Tuesday. Long ago when the married couple were leaving the Church people threw confetti on them.
