    There is a field on Mr. Fennelly's land of Ballintaggart called "CUINNE FINANE" and this field got its name from a man named Finane who hanged himself in the corner of that field.
    There is stream running along the end of that field and it is called "SRUTHÁN SPRID". There is the ruins of an old house there to the present day, and the family that lived there were called Burkes. The man of the Burkes got many frights at that stream and Mr Fennelly would not travel those fields after dark as he got a fright there too. He saw a black dog at that stream.
    There is another field on Mr. Fennelly's farm of Ballintaggart and its name is "POLL na mBO because there is a very big pond in the field.
