    Cancer:
    In some families there is a cure for cancer. The Cowell family, Enniscrone, and a small farmer outside Ballyhaunis, have the cure of external cancer.
    The Seventh Son:
    The seventh son is supposed to have a cure for ringworm or worms in children.

    Warm water and salt or cold tea was a cure for a stye.
