  1. A pattern is held in Loughkeeran on the last Sunday of July every year. Four or five stallholders come from Swineford and Castlebar and erect tents on the road close to the Blessed Well. Mr and Mrs McGough Castlebar have been coming to this pattern with their stall for the past thirty years. The stall holders charge dear for sweets and fruit early in the day, but in the evening they give good value.
